Music, these days.
I’m often asked about how I experience music now.
Hopefully this entry provides some insight into music, with an ABI.
Listening, not hearing
Listening is different to hearing. The same as watching is different to scanning. One is active, the other is passive.
Without meaning to sound creepy, I am always listening.
Covert Silence
I often choose to leave my processor in my bag and explore the world in silence.
It’s a different experience and it helps reduce fatigue levels.
This adventure was brilliant as someone else joined me in my silent world.

When it shifts from having a disability, to being disabled.

I've tried to describe a little of what it's like here.

Delivering ‘My Ability’ Keynote Address
I delivered the keynote address yesterday at the Department of Finance.
Have a read of what I talked about and see some photos of me looking professional and maybe a tad goofy.
